This 8-week long intensive invites you to fundamentally change your relationship with your voice. Through readings, exercises, discussions, reflection and study of anatomy you will explore the many facets of your voice and understand in greater depth its potential for expressive range and character range. You will learn how to resolve areas of tension and limitation through greater physical awareness, protecting your voice long-term.
We will work through Part One of Kristin Linklater’s Freeing The Natural Voice.

For this course, you need to purchase your own copy of Freeing The Natural Voice by Kristin Linklater (latest edition has a yellow cover). A journal for recording reflections is recommended. You need a space where you can work undisturbed and move freely (not your booth!)
